Last night was my first night alone. Actually it was my first entire day without seeing my H, or talking to him. He called (just like he said he would) and talked to our son, but he did not want to speak to me. I cried like a baby last night I felt so alone. I can take care of the house, and I can take care of my son, and I can take care of me. It's was the couple of hours of being by myself that were hard last night. I just kept thinking of old times, I kept wondering what he was doing, if he was with her.
------------------
Give to the world the best you have, and the best will come back to you.
* Viki

viki, i hope you read this before going home. i'm assuming this will help. anyway, you may find it helpful to select a night spot to hang out. i don't know if you ever go to bars or not but they can be a lot warmer than an empty house or apartment.
i almost never went to bars until i started my affair and moved to another city. i didn't know anyone and found the casual friendships in my bar to be nice. after some time they called me by my name, that was nice. see how desperate i was?
start thinking of doing anything that comes to mind that you think you might enjoy. you'll probably think nothing sounds good now but keep thinking. in a little while you'll come up with something you've been wanting to do and just do it.
try it. it's a little bit like putting your toe into the pool to check the water.
