This is my second post to this message board. I have been presented with a problem that I'm sure may not be unique. I have been married for seven years to a woman I thought was my soulmate. Last night a friend of hers called me with disturbing news. She told me that my WW was in love with her high school sweetheart. She said that WW didn't love me anymore and had no intentions of reconciling. She also told me I have only been a fill in for OM for our entire marriage. Incidently, OM is in the army and they talk regularly via e-mail and he comes back home from time to time to see her. She even asked this friend to accompany her on a weekend trip to his army base This is where it gets tricky. Without giving up my source of information, I confronted her with this on the telephone this morning and she denied everything. I got the whole spill about how sorry I was for not trusting her. But get this. She refused to even talk to me about the possibility of divorce. She said that is the last thing she wants right now. She just wants our current separation to continue "while she decides what she wants". I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I feel like she's keeping me around as a backup plan in case it doesn't work out with OM. He never treated her good when they dated in high school and I believe he is only manipulating her so he can get some free sex when he comes home to visit his family. If anyone out there knows what I'm going through and has any good advice it would be greatly appreciated.
