After I had cheated on my wife of 10 years, with a hooker, and she found out. She was bitterly cold for about 8 weeks while I was in jail. Now out on bail she began to warm up after just over a week, but last night she was very cold and hung up on the phone. I think this is normal for her to have ups and downs. I am not pushing her and have been totally honest, and accepting full responsibility for the infidelity. She has a restraining order out and does not wish to see me. But since she has all my tools and car & funds. She seemed to be beginning to be a little more fair and I had offered to help her by putting new brakes on her car. But last evening during a telephone conversation she was very cold and ended the call abruptly.
I know she needs more time. But is the any advice you could give me at this point?
I think she may have had an evening out with my best friend as he did not come home after going to help my wife with some things. He was there when she called me. She seems to not want people ( friends in the know) to know that she cares about me still and is getting along and misses me.
I cant blame her if she has an affair, since I started the cheating and at this point I have no proof, maybe I just figure I deserve it.
Any thoughts, anyone?

Road to recovery is very narrow, I assume you have read this site inside out and learn about MB. Learn about LB, EN, & plan A to start.

At this point, do not LB at all. This is the most crucial time. Don't start talking about the incident or relationship ... unless she brought it up. She might pour her anger at you ... it was your fault you take it and appologize to her. If she has A on her own that is her personal choice ... you deal with it later. For now, make it safe for her to talk to you and see where faith will lead you.

A very good book that I re-read again is The Language of Love ... there are 7 steps you study to create a powerfull word picture that could open her up. Get it and use it.
