My husband and I have been married for 4 yrs....dated a year before we married. He's a quiet type, but we've been very much in love. He's always touched me, told me how much I meant to him...how much he loves me etc. I've felt very lucky to have had one of the "good guys" 2 weeks ago he comes home from work and everything changed. He was just "different". I just knew.....I can't explain it but I just knew something was really wrong. Long story short, his supervisor came on to him via email. And he's attracted to her. Doesnt know if he's attracted to me anymore. Says he loves me but doesnt know if he's in love with me. Man do I hate that over used phrase! Since then I've tried everything to communicate with him. He says he's told her that he can not talk to her anymore about anything other than work. I found out he had called her on the weekend and she responded to his call with a message where she called him "baby" Talk about insult to injury. He swears nothing physical has happened. He's reluctant to touch me, look at me or even sit with me. He says he doesnt want to give me "false hope" I told him touching is communicating, that not touching me would keep him further distanced from me. He's kissed me good bye when he leaves for work....and hugged me before bed recently. We are in counseling. He keeps saying that he doesnt want to hurt me and it's not his intention. I'm so hurt. I'm devestated. How do you get throught this? Can he ever love me again? How do I keep from resenting him? How do I trust him? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Freek, I only have a few moments but I’ll try to touch on some ideas for you.
First spend some time learning the concepts around here.
Learn about Plan A and START yours today.
Order the book Surviving an Affair and read, read, read.
You asked: How can I get through this? You get through by finding a support system, by learning the how’s and why’s to how these things happen to couples and how to get beyond them. Educate yourself, don’t wait for him to snap out of it.
Can he ever love me again? Certainly he can, love is conditional.
How do I keep from resenting him That’s a tough one, but the more you learn the easier it is to understand.
Have you noticed a common element here. Education…. The more you learn about the true workings of a relationship the more you are in control.
You can do this,
oz

Do you have access to this e-mail? The supervisor is on shakey ground. What is the company's policy about inter office A's?
