I’m sorry for all my question! I just can’t seem to get over the number of affairs in the last 3 years my husband has had. I asked if he was sick; now how common is it for a man or women to have multiple partners? He was explaining it was the thrill of the chase. Meeting and talking with women then getting what he wanted from them.

This all sounds so sick to me. My husband has always been a great man. Loving husband and good father. (He looks and acts normal) The truth be told all he was looking for was oral sex. (We had sex at least 3 times a week) (I didn’t give oral sex as often as my husband would have like)Sometimes he says he would have to sleep with women to get the oral.

I know I have to make up my mind, but I think because of the number, this is so hard to do. Last night all I can do is look at my kids with their father (The kids know nothing) and thinking how can I split this up. But how can I forgive the numbers? I’m just coping by not letting my mind go or think.

Hi and welcome to MB.

Ok, you need to get some personal support. Can you get with an MC both you and your H? If not, then at least you.

This is a big thing to adjust to. Also, get with your doctor and take the STD tests. This is important. Both of us got tested and the WS got tested twice. We need to go again every year for the rest of our lives. That is how important it is to me.

There is a lot to deal with. Is your H remorseful?

You will also benefit from reading the concepts section located at the top of this page. There you may be directed to some books like surviving an affair and his needs/her needs. Those books were helpful to me.

take care,
L.

Is your H remorseful? Yes my H is very very remorseful. He is also very embarrassed about his actions.

I have also been reading books. My favorite saying is “without hope you have nothing”

I do have some hope in his actions. He has been wonderful. (But wouldn’t anyone who has been caught be wonderful) (He has so much to loose if not) I just let everyday go by and see what the next brings.

I just don’t want to be a fool!

Yes I went to get tested but I'm affaid of the answer.I have not gone back. One day I will work up the courage.

Also why do you have to go every year to get tested?
