My prev post was reeling if anyone needs the initial story - just looking for some help getting through the day!
Unfortunately, things have gone from bad to worse recently. My H has been out of the house which has been a good thing, but has not been to a counselor because of the way I have been reacting to the situation (I call him all the time, want to know where he is, pick fights, etc.) I know this is not right, so at least I can recognize that in all this mess. But, the bad to worse part occured this weekend when my H's friend who reported the initial news to me gave up some more information on my H. He spoke to my best friend and asked her to tell me this because he just couldn't. He told her that he thought I should go to the Dr. and get tested b/c my H has been with multiple women....I don't know if this was since we've been married or what, but I guess it doesn't matter, does it? What I haven't told any of my friends or anyone else is that he already brought something home with him in July and I was actually sick enough to beleive that it wasnt from someone else - he "wasn't sure" what the Dr. had told him but had to use an antibiotic and ointment so obviously there was something there. Janet, I am so ashamed that I didnt kick him out then and there, but I am relaizing that I am the quintessential "woman who loves too much" and I just can't believe I let it go this far. I confronted him with the new information I received yesterday and he reacted by screaming at me and telling me he was filing for divorce, and then left a threatening voice mail on his friends machine. I am just in a daze at this point.

Your health and safety come first! First, go to the doctor and have a full STD screen done. Do not have sexual relations with him again until you know for a fact he is STD free.(don't take his word for it) Secondly, stop calling and harassing him, you only appear weak and needy when you do this. You need to calm down, and step back from this for a bit. I know how stressed, panicky and anxious you feel right now but, you must try to get some perspective on this. You are behaving in ways you already regret! Thirdly, you need to start taking care of you, plan A is what you need and that involves making yourself a happier and healthier person.

All that being said...if there is any possibility that your safety(or anyone else's) is at risk then you need to really distance yourself from your WH. Your safety and health should not be sacrificed in the attempt to reconcile with someone who is potentially violent.
