Well, Hummingbird and I were talking and I thought of something I shared with her. Thought I would share it with the group. As you know we have both had our share of withdrawal. It continues, hopefully to get easier.
Here's my analogy.
We are like the man on the swinging trapeze bar. To get safely to the other side (a repaired marriage)we have to let go of the bar we are hanging onto (our relationship with the OM) to grab the other bar. You won't keep swinging back as far. If you do nothing you will end up hanging somewhere in the middle (bad marriage and failed affair). Then there is always the fear of the safety net.
And we wonder why we feel so hopeless at times? ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)

Interesting analogy. However, I see the two of you like the woman dressed in some skimpy sequenced outfit who deftly negotiates the two bars and ends up with the muscle bound man (your H's of course) safety on the other side and proudly takes a bow.

------------------
Faith, Hope, Love Remain,
but the greatest of these is Love.
1 Corinthians 13:13

No can't relate...but can understand. Just liked my spin on it better because it had a happy ending.
------------------
Faith, Hope, Love Remain,
but the greatest of these is Love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
