Hey Guys and Gals and fellow MB junkies....
Is it just me, or had everyone's life speeded (sped?) up to dizzying rates? It seems that each trip we take around the sun goes faster and faster with each passing year.
I have a couple of thing going on that are consuming not only my time, but my energy and my passion as well. The ideas for growing my business are being generated in my Tiggerish little brain so fast that I can hardly get them on paper before 5 more appear. With that comes the work of research and implemetation. I'm meeting with a new web designer in a week or so to talk about how some of those will play out. If you get my newsletter, this month's issue talks a little about what I have in mind.
I've got two books in nebulous format, and I'm working on making those more concrete.
My second degree work is starting to pile on. We're "invited" to lead book discussions for the new students as part of our training, and we'll be asked to teach some of the classes after Imbolg..(Feb 2). I've tentatively agreed to one book discussion, and teaming with a fellow initiate on a second. (Read: add 2 books to the stack near the bed.)
Along with that will come more need for introspection and my own spiritual growth. As well as defining a specialty within the community. (Wiccan conflict resolution???)
Further adding to all of that is the ongoing mess with my first H. They've finally forced me to hire another atty. I managed to find one who offers reduced rates to women referred through a local women's organization ($150 per hour instead of the $280 I was paying before... ), still not inexpensive though. She does allow her clients to do some of the info gathering and writing to further reduce their costs. I am gratefully taking her up on that.
So, I'll be getting info for and making up rough drafts of affadavits over the next week and a half. Definitely a heavy workload on the front end, but I really like her and her get it done attitude. So, perhaps there's a light at the end of the tunnel? Heck I'd take a dark tunnel if it meant getting it over and done with!!!
I want to say thanks to all of you who have been my friends, my support, my backbone when I felt like mine was turning to mush, those of you who made me laugh til the librarians snarled, and those whose stories touched me so deeply that I cried with you.
I want to thank the lurkers who popped in once in a while... or just once... with a work of encouragement or thanks. And the "regulars" who let me become part of their lives. All of you have meant so much to me in this past year, you have no idea, and words can never say how much.
So, I need to tell you that in the interest of not losing little remaining sanity (yes, there is a little hidden in there somewhere) I need to streamline my time commitments as I move forward with everything. But at the same time, I want you all to know that I'm as commited to being available to you for whatever I can offer with my words and my thoughts.
If you like, I'm as happy as ever to answer your questions, review your letters, or simply to be a shoulder to cry on before you pull yourself up and re-enter the fray. I'm NOT leaving, just focusing harder in other areas. But, I might not see your posts as soon as I have over the past year. My email is always available. And if you have a post that you want input on, don't be afraid to send me a message asking me to look at it. I still live in front of a computer screen! (In fact, I read a funny description of that this week..."mouse potato!" )
Here's the best place to find me if you want to get my attention: info@lifeworks-coaching.net
Ya'll know who you are, so I won't even try to list names, THANK YOU!!!
Many blessings,
C
