It's been less than 2 weeks. I am doing my best to keep standing but the thing is that I don't know how are our lives supposed to go now. He's a financial broker, so he has a lot of appointments, lunch outside, fancy restaurants, bars, etc. Today he had his first one and I feel terrible, next week he's going on a trip. On the other hand he's behaving very nice to me. It all happened one year about and it was with a secretary which he says it was only sex and not love at all. I am afraid that our relation turns into something really bad, because I would love him to stay home, just go to work and back, avoid the social part. What should I ask for to feel better?

I highly recommend reading the entire website(totally worth doing), if you have not done so, and the book "Surviving an Affair".

I would also recommend moving this topic to General Questions II(more activity there). Add more background if you can.
