Hi Guys,<P>I got up early this morning and checked out the posts to see how everyone is doing. Took a look at my daily planner and saw that I only have to make a few phone calls to return today. I have a rough life. The phone I have is quite heavy by todays standards.<P>OK, well I'm caught up. Now what.<P>I went into the closet to get clothes for today. Well, I didn't really go into the closet. It's kind of a small one and I wouldn't be able to turn around much less live comfortably in there.<P>I grabbed my sneakers and our wedding album was calling out to me. I said be quiet we have neighbors. <P>Yeah, major mistake. I pulled it out and was enjoying reliving the great times from the past. We spent our honeymoon in Va Beach. That's where I will retire in a few years.<P>I came across a picture that I took when Val just woke up, her hair was a mess, blue silk nightie was held up by only one shoulder strap and no make up. Not a photo you would want to show up in the Enquirer.<P>She hates that pic. I have it taped to the fridg. Only because the staples kept bending over. <P>She says it is unflattering. I don't see it as that. I see the inner beauty that she radiates. If I had a choice between Heather Locklear and my W. Heather would lose.<P>I'm not sure exactly what I'm trying to say here other than when you go for your shoes today don't pick up the wedding album. <P>The holidays are stiring memories up in my twisted mind.<BR> <P>------------------<BR>"It's not over till we say it's over! Don't be so hard on yourself. All of my albums are currently at my parents house, so what did I do when I was there Thanksgiving?? You guessed it - looked through all those picture of our past and I kicked myself for not taking more. At times I wanted to rip them up, but I know that someday I will want to look at them not to be sad, but to remember. I pray that the blank pages will be filled with many more of OUR memories. I too have picture of H that he hates, but to me they are who he really is. One in particular is of him laying on the bed holding a stuffed animal from the Lion King. I remember he was sleeping and I was going to take a picture, but he woke up and I said "Nice pillow" and he looked at me and hugged the lion and snap! He thinks he looks mad - but I think that's what he looked like when he used to wake up next to me. It's sad, but still my favorite. I think we need those happy memories to remind us that S wasn't always this way and things weren't as bad as they are now. Keep your head up and try to stay away from the albums, but if you can't don't beat yourself up! Have a good day.
