I am new to this forum and desperately need advise. My husband and I have been married for 4 years and are currently 5 1/2 months pregnant. I have always been fit and I am still staying active. He is having a real hard time seeing me without clothes on. He looks at me as if I am fat and really has a hard time laying next to me in bed. If I would have guessed before this whole thing who would of have the problem with the stomach growth, I definitely would have said me, but I was wrong. It is very hard knowing we have been blessed by God with a child and he can't get past the point that my stomach is not flat and covered with muscle like it use too.

Can anyone give advise? My emotions are definitely altered because of being pregnant so its so hard to keep my composure specially at work. Thanks so much for listening!

I am sorry to hear your sad story. I understand this must be very hard for you. Especially since most women are more vulnerable during pregnancy. The pregnancy period is a tough period for both husband and wife. I know, we have five children. But a loving and caring husband should be able to overcome his problems in order to be supportive and loving to his wife. This is a forum for infidelity related problems. It is not clear from your post whether this child is a result from infidelity. If so his reaction is more understandable. I would then direct you to the forum ”pregnancy and child” where you will meet couples with similar challenges.
If the child is your husband's, he seems to have unusual problems in this regard. In both cases I will strongly suggest counselling. Read the other pages in this site, also regarding some pitfalls in counselling. Not all counsellors are worth visiting.
If there was no infidelity I will advice you to visit the ”emotional needs” forum at this site. You will get more response in a forum where people have related problems.
I will pray for you and your husband.
