Yes, people chose to let them occur. This sort of thing does not happen by accident.
I understand how an EA can occur if the marriage is troubled in some way. My W had several EA's even before we had our problems. She has tried to explain why she did what she did, and I'm trying hard to understand.
Why do they do this knowing what it will do to the marriage.
Just wanted to get some more input on this
[This message has been edited by unseen2 (edited December 15, 1999).]

This is only me, but.
I was a rotten lousy stinkin H and I can now admit that. Repeat WAS. I had just started a business and put all my efforts into it. I neglected my W and am paying for it with very high interest charges.
I do not blame her for her actions. If I would have fufilled my obligations in the marriage this would not have happened.
She was miserable and was looking for happiness. Don't we all want that. I didn't give it to her and she looked outside of the marriage for it.
The new and improved Medic will get her back [come hell or high water] and treat her as she should have been. It's a two way street. Looking back I can't believe some of the stuff I pulled.

------------------
"It's not over till we say it's over! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? H*ll no!" Blutto...Animal House 1984
Wishing us all the Best.
Medic
