Can anyone share experiences about relocating after a divorce. I have been divorced since April and have two girls ages 14 and 12. I want to marry my new love and move to a city two hours away. (X) and I have joint custody; although I am primary caretaker. I know he will take me to Court to try to stop me from moving. What can I expect? Any hints - suggestions?

Two hours away??? I wouldn't think the court would have a cow about this. It's not like it's across the country. Are you relocating to remarry? Are you relocating to move in without marriage? (That could be an issue!) Can you find better employement at the new location? Better schools for the childlren? Do you have family in the area?
What is your custody agreement now? How will the move impact it? Will it greatly decrease your xH's ability to see his children? Can the two of you sit down and discuss a change in visitation like adults?
I know...lots of questions...but I can't answer without those answers.
