Hi
Just a few days ago I inadvertently found out that my partner was having an internet affair.. it has consumed me with pain, anger, insecurity and all other feelings... but the feeling of betrayal and fear for the future is the strongest.
We have two young sons. One is 2 yrs and the other 6 months.
Since the D day he has been beating himself up with guilt , he has handed over his email addys and passwords... but always that doubt remains. We are in counselling to figure out how we can get past this , what may have been the cause and how to deal with feelings.
The other woman has not attempted to contact him.. I hear she is too upset as she believed his promises to leave me and go to her... I just don't know....

Be thankful you still have him with you. Pray that his guilt and seemingly willingness to change is sincere. Continue your counceling and keep praying. I can understand you having distrust. This is a very difficult trauma to have to go through. Most WS just dont and wont ever comprehend the amount of pain the BS endures. Your trust in him will have to be earned. If he is sincere in his move to change, then he'll understand your fears and concerns completely. I hope all works out well for you and your family. God Bless
