H smokes alot of pot, he's amotivational, often sad, easily angered...if we go to have a conversation the first thing I says that dosen't agree with what he thinks he'll start cussing and when I talk calmly it only upsets him more. And than he says "you do this to me." he's more concerned about what his 20 year old single friends with no kids are doing than what his kids are doing. Last friday he came in and I did what he always begs for, greet him. I asked how was his day and his only response was fuc- up. When asked why he said just because. On Saturday the next time I saw him after he left to clear his head on Friday, I said would you like to talk and he said yeah later, (He hung out all weekend and I stayed home with the children, because I'm his babysitter) on Thursday the following week after bumping shoulders and speaking only breifly about the children, poor thing was practically begging for conversation. But still I had to semi initiate it. My main concern during the discussion was on Friday you came in with an attitude and have choose to maintain that between us until today 6 days. I mean I asked you on Sat if you wanted to talk, and how long am I supposed to lie and wait at your feet for you to grace me with your conversation. His main concern was our entire relationship, and needless to say I couldn't get over the past 6 days. Because he minupulated the situation so that when we would talk it wouldn't be about his attitude and behavior over the week, it would be about our relationsship as a whole. Maybe he thought I had had a few puffs and would forget what really went down. but of course I reminded myself everyday. As a final effort I described to him the symptons of depression, which he was very aware of and I let him know that if he's depressed (which I know he is) I would stand by him through whatever he/we needed to go through. One of the funny things was when I said "you smoke more than a little bit pot" and he stuck his nose up and said "whatever, I admit I smoke alot but, blah blah" Isn't a lot more than a little bit. I deal with this everyday, and I think enough is enough.
