I found out in September of last yr that my husband of 20 yrs has been having a relationship with a also married women at the building that he works at.This relationship has been going on for 10 yrs. After us being seperated up until Jan 3 I decided after reading the info from this great site to give my husband a chance to put our marriage back together. We have gone through the first steps and now we are suspose to be working on the other steps. But my husband cannot put those step into motion Give me complements say how much I mean to him. He says it is because he is still depressed about what he has done to the girls and myself. I need some of your opinions on this please

Has he ended the A with the OW? If so how long has NC been in effect? Have you both read some of the infidelity books? Have either or both of you been to IC and/or MC?
Recovery requires a game plan...this site and books like Torn Asunder and Surviving an Affair really help with the plan. I would also recommend phone counseling with one of the Harley's.
Best Wishes!
