I don't know if you get many of these, but being new here I am looking for recommendations. My partner of 2.5 years and I have had ongoing issues with honesty and openness and now he's agreed to see a counselor, and I think we should go separately as well as together. I've heard so many horror stories that I want to make sure that I can find a counselor I can trust. The values and ideas presented on this site are what I believe and trust and so I was hoping that anyone who might know of a good relationship counselor around the Bay Area, CA that holds to the same moral code.

thanks in advance,

Searching for Truth before Marriage

(I'm not sure about the script at the bottom of the msgs - but I'm female, 25, no children, and he's 33, 1 child who lives with her mother).

I can't help you in your area, but you might try calling a counseling referral service in your area and asking them who follows MB (Steve Harley) type of counseling...they should know.
