Friday I walked into my H's office he was not there so I started snooping around(he is the maint. super at a hotel) I came accross a note(worked related) but it was signed Love, Lyndsay I confronted him I dont think I ever heard him laugh so hard. He said she is about 55yrs old he tells me I have met her before I really dont remember. He also gave me an ultimatum either I stop accussing him of cheating(which I have been doing, going on this gut feeling) or he wants a divorce, he said he is not cheating never has, and cant stand to be accused anymore. So now that same night I got a hold of his cell phone and jotted down the #'s on it. So now Monday Morn. at work I called the one # and low and behold its Lyndsay's home #. Now from what I understand she is the restaruant manager. I dont know what to think. She, if she is the one Im thinking of is nothing to look at but what would you think about the note & the phone #. Please I need some insight.

Thank you
Paula

While I find "love" to be an unprofessional ending to a work related note, I don't know that I find that a red flag flying which must lead to the conclusion that an affair is on-going. Who knows, she may sign all messages in that manner, some people are much too free with the word "love", making it mean nothing. jmho

As for the number in the cell phone, that too is not that unusual for co-workers to make a call to home numbers. Especially, considering his work position and hers. If he had to fix something while she was off duty, he would need to let her know that it was repaired or if it wouldn't be working so that she could plan her work around it's downtime.

I'm not saying to ignore this, but you do seem to be focusing on odd bits and pieces which may not mean anything. You've been suspicious for awhile, yet you still haven't found anything which could be considered proof. A suspicious spouse can be the biggest roadblock to an affair, but they can also be used as justification by a soon to be WS for embarking in an affair. Tread carefully. Keep your eyes and ears open...and your mouth shut at this stage. JMHO

I would find a way to meet this restaruant manager, however. Now, her age has nothing to do with rather or not there is an affair on-going, nor does her looks. The OP is often not younger, better looking, etc. then the spouse. So don't be blind, but don't build castles out of sand either.
