Hi I started taking anti-depressants about 2 weeks ago. They help very much. What I would like to know if when sometime I go off meds, will I be back to square one when I first found out about the affair. I guess what I mean are the meds just masking the anger, crying, shaking and then when I am off them, 1 year let's say, will I be back like I was before when the affair first started????

NO! Anti-D meds don't take away the pain, or the sorrow or the anger, what they do is make it a little easier for you to find out how to control them by leveling them off somewhat so that they don't overwhelm you all at once. You're still going to be doing the things you need to do for YOU to help you heal during this "year/months" so you won't find yourself back at square one when you AND your doctor decide you no longer have a need for them.
