Ok, who's up for it and when's a good time? I think Sue said a Saturday works well for her, and I would agree. The 19th is out, other than that I'm pretty flexible.

Vicinity?
I'm in the northern hemisphere, but my W says that's not quite close emough.
I think her exact words were " why would you want to go to Minnisota for a bonfire????"
We had a really good one here just a few miles from town, I think it burned over 30,000 acres, but I didn't start this one. Honest, I didn't.

One of these times we're going to get you out here for one of our little gatherings. And then the Mrs is gonna like it so much she won't want to leave!! (We may need to keep you away from the fire starters though..... LOL)
Besides.... it's WI, not MN.

Wisconsin, Oh, I wonder if that would make a difference to her.
Just a minute - I'll be right back.
"Honey, would WI be better? "
W - "When you're finsihed, I've got some things for you to do, let me know."
I don't know if she would like WI or not, but I know she doesn't want to move back to southern Cal, something about the comute time. I know she would LIKE ALL OF YOU.
I think Sue should come and bring her H, then everyone could ask him things like:
" So, hows the OW doing now days?" " Hey, has Sue got that high paying nursing job yet so she afford to send you to reform school?"
I better quit while the questions are still coming out nice.
My W does read some of my posts, and she says: "You can talk about me as long as you tell the truth."
The truth is she really is the better half. Light of my life, joy of my days. Some days being married is hard, but I like it.

SS, if you W cloned you, and sold you, but kept the original, I think she would make a mint.
I'm gonna ask him to go. If not, I will bring the kids.

What/where is Calanish, all you have to do is find your way to the land of cheddarheads.
Cerri - is cheese wedge hat optional?
I reread my last post, I meant I will ask H to come, not a cloned version of SS. Sorry SS

Sue, I suppose it would be counter productive to send an invite to your H that reads something like this:
You are cordially invited to attend a MarriageBUILDERS bonfire at the home of the world's most obsessive infidelity basher and MBCoach. And, BTW.... there's a big stake in the middle of the bonfire in your honor.......
Ok, ok...... I'll be good..... <sigh> but it is tempting.......

Until then, really Star..... you should come... there must be a way you could visit us for a weekend or so...
Sue
I'm sure you can get a cheese head hat in town somewhere. But don't feel you need to have one on my account. My kids hate cheese! LOL Really, we are living in the wrong state. No dead animal heads hanging in our living room, no Packerware, no cheese lovers.... I swear the only reason they let us stay is that H loves beer.

I think you figured it out. The beer, is the only reason they let you stay.
Yes, it would be counterproductive to send H that type of invite. (But I like you thinking)
I replied on the EN one. I was thinking the last saturday was the 27th, not the 26th.

Who is nocking MN....it is what some people would call God's Country It is a great place to have a bonfire....The smoke keeps our state bird away (mesqutio sp?) Let me know when this is going to be & maybe I can come depending on my schedule. & I will see if the WW would want to come.
Just a quick update.....There is none. If anything it is heading towards a divorce. She is exhausted, & our counsulor seems to put a lot of this whole thing on me. But we still are going....

Cerri is thinking the 26th, I'm trying to get it changed to August 2nd. H's b-day is the 26th, and I know he wants to go out to dinner. He always does. He wants a nice sit down steak dinner in a nice resturant.
You have to be willing to cross the border into cheddar hat land. (Notice I did not say cheddarhead this time). Cheese wedge hat optional. [ July 09, 2003, 07:20 PM: Message edited by: Sue with hope ]

(Well except for the snow and the ice and road destruction and the mosquitos......) it's living in the great state next door that still makes me crazy. What a culture shock it was to move across the river!!
Would love to see you and the Mrs. let me know if you need directions.
Sue.... what are you saying? There's a problem with hotdogs and s'mores???? Hmpffff!

I have no problem with hot dogs and smores. I know H would like something that moos when he puts his fork into it. Especially on his b-day.
Honestly, when you first suggested the last Saturday, I thought it was the 27ths, so I figured that would work out great. H's b-day is the day before. I really need to learn how to read a calender. I would make less mistakes this way [ July 09, 2003, 08:01 PM: Message edited by: Sue with hope ]

I wonder if the neighbors across the fence would mind if he chased their cattle around with a campfire fork? Once in a while they wander into our yard, but I think I heard some fence fixing going on earlier in the spring, so I don't know that the odds of that happening are all that great......

Ali88 - if they were true norweigians, they would have settled on the MN side of the border. It is much better over here. (Is this what we call a border war)

I can't post, I'm too busy picturing my H running around a paster with a large fork in his hand chasing cows. I have tears running down my face I'm laughing so hard.
