From your sig line:'What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.' (Mark 11:24)
And a challenge....
And thou who thinkest to seek for me, know thy seeking and yearning shall avail thee not unless thou knowest the mystery; that if that which thou seeks thou findest not within thine own self thou shalt never find it without thee. For behold, I have been with thee from the beginning and I am that which is attained at the end of desire.

NARRATOR: Sir Launcelot had saved Sir Galahad from almost certain temptation, but they were still no nearer the Grail. Meanwhile, King Arthur and Sir Bedevere, not more than a swallow's flight away, had discovered something. Oh, that's an unladen swallow's flight, obviously. I mean, they were more than two laden swallows' flights away-- four, really, if they had a coconut on a line between them. I mean, if the birds were walking and dragging-- CROWD: Get on with it! NARRATOR: Oh, anyway. On to scene twenty-four, which is a smashing scene with some lovely acting, in which Arthur discovers a vital clue, and in which there aren't any swallows, although I think you can hear a starling-- oooh! ------------------- hehehehheeee - one of my fave movies! Could it possibly be from "Charge of the Goddess" by Doreen Valiente?

SSTSI and Harold, I did toy with the idea of something from The Princess Bride, but everyone knows those quotes... or at least the good ones.

It wasn't until 8 am that my brain finally decided that it was time to shutdown BUT I couldn't because I had two very important appointments in the morning and I felt like one of the human-turned-zombies from the movie 28 days later. Fortunately I was done by 12 pm and I went straight home to bed for a much needed short trip to oblivion. Remarkably, my midafternoon siesta did not affect my sleep last night because I got a very restful 6 hours worth of sleep. I sure paid the price for disregarding my cardinal rule of no caffeine after 12 pm but I guess sometimes an old fool like me needs a good 2x4 whack over his head to remind him .
As far as the time it took me to do the research on your quote, it only took me between 5 to 10 minutes to find its source. [ July 18, 2003, 09:19 AM: Message edited by: T00MuchCoffeeMan ]

But, you can never go wrong with Monty Python!
TMCM- Glad to hear the you are back on normal sleep again. I could send you some DE-caffinated coffee if you want.
Cerri- I saw you were posting at 10:00PM last night. I thought you turned into a pumpkin at 9:00.

Are those the monkey guards from The Wizard of Oz?
That movie scarred the crap out of me when I was a kid.
Besaides, what are you going to say to IR2T when I get beat up by a bunch of monkeys?

June Cleaver on that movie speaking 'Jive' - LMAO! heheheeeee Harold And 'Johnny' - ..."The tower! The tower! Rapunzel!" What a nut. "Auntie Em Uncle Henry, it's a twister, it's a twister." heheheee

Harold-
How about History of the World Part 1 or Blazing Saddles, both by Mel Brooks.

Hi STTSI! Yes, both excellent movies. I loved Blazing Saddles, LMAO the entire movie. "Don't make a move or the [censored] gets it!" Cleavon Little - that man was a scream! Or Howard Johnson's ice cream parlour just starting. Or the toll booth for Rock Ridge - BWHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAAA. I'm still laughing. I like the part where they hit the white man over the head with a shovel though - it was Slim Pickens. I about died laughing... Harold ...O the camptown ladies sing this song... doo dah doo dah... heheheeee

OK, here is the sad truth.
My first date with W and I, we watched Blazing Saddles.
SHE FELL ASLEEP!!!
Can you believe it? One of the all time classics, and she fell asleep!
Of course in her defense I think it was around 3AM at that time.
