Hi, I have never posted before, and I am hoping that maybe someone out there will understand what is happening in my life and have some words to make since of all of this.

I am 38 years old with a 21 month old son, who I love more than life itself, I was told that I would never be able to have a child, I'm glad all those doctors were wrong. I have been married for 23 months, so do the math... we all know why we got married. This is my second marriage, I was married for 13 years to a very nice man, however I thought the grass was greener on the other side and jumped ship... why not there were no children involved and all I had to think about was myself. Well I jumped into the fire. My husband has never been married before, nor did he want to marry me he just did it because we were having a baby, and now we are having very serious problems, he is currently seeing a counselor, he has a sex addiction problem, (he has used an escort service twice since we have been married). The only time we have sex is after we break up or we are about to end it all. We have been breaking up and getting back together for three and half years, I'm tired. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope that GOD can do anything and he can change all of this mess into something to Glorify him.
I have forgiven my husband for cheating, he has a problem and he is trying to working it out.
By the way, I think I should add my husband is the one who wants a divorce. I do not want my marriage to end but it can't continue like this. I want to give my Son a family. My parents are divorced and so are my husbands I wanted to stop this pattern.

What should I do? Is there anyone eles out there who got married because they were pregant and that the marrriage in time became something good?
And to make matters worse I have know idea what the odds are that my husband will overcome his sex addition issues. (Or what exactly a sex addition is).
I can't believe this is my life it sounds more like a soap. I would laugh but crying is alot easier.

hopefulwif I would like to suggest that you contact Penny Tupy, our resident MB coach by the username of Cerri and founder of Save Your Marriage Central. She shares a similar story as yours and she is an excellent marriage saving coach. Good luck and keep us posted.
