i'm opening myself up to my w and she doesn't even seem to care...she listens....but doesn't feel. I have patience with her but it is so strange to see her not react with kindness, tenderness and care with a loving heart. Just coldness and distant listening. What im i going to do with myself?!?!?!
--------- My W of 7yrs has lost connection with me with an emotional affair w/ a her friend at work and she won't let him go...or say she doesn't know. says she thinks she feels happy and feels right but can't let me go yet can't feel anything with me.

In opening yourself up have you been LBing? Have you started plan A? How long has the A been going on with your W and this "friend"? Did she tell you she was feeling attracted to him before it got too serious between them or did you find out another way?
If you haven't maybe you should read the MB concepts on LBing, and Plan A. If your opening up it's probably making her feel very very guilty and that's going to turn into anger and resentment and sadly enough... push her towards the OM instead of bringing her back to you.
But I'm not the expert here... I've just been at this since 12/03, but if it's early for you maybe you found this early enough to change things for the better.... Good Luck and read read read!!!

Thick ice won't melt in one day. Slowly and steady will win the race. Keep being nice, she will listen.
Listening doesn't mean that she has to go your way.

LBing? what does that mean? I'm still new to this. Their emotional affair didn't go further then that..but the OM I found out wishes to leave his wife and 3 little children but his wife wants him back.
how is it possible that one day she loves me adores me and thinks of me with all her heart and the world of me and now she doesn't at all? she only feels for the OM whom she is having the emotional affair with? she feels nothing for me. she doesn't even feel a slight bit pain that i feel? I don't get it. i don't understand how someone who is sooo considerate and loving can now be soooo selfish. She says she can't recognize herself with me but can with the OM. I'm being ripped to shredds on the insides here. I can't take this.

Read the info on MB before you post..
LBing is "love busting" .... look it up and read all the concepts....
