And I mean it in a good way...
I kept pretty busy all morning, tidying the house from last night(gift wrapping session), and then a major shopping exurtion. I went up to the ski hill to pick up the kids at one. Arik and I figured they would be tired by then, skiing since 9:00. Our oldest was still raring to go but the 4-yr old was pooped right out. So after spending an hour watching them come down the hill I took the 4-yr old home and left the 8-yr old with Arik and his sister. After we came home I made a huge pot of chilli and some corn-bread for dinner, it was ready just in time. Everybody had their fill and them Arik and his sisters went out shopping. He said he needed some help finding stuff for me. He is color blind(literally) and doesn't do well guessing sizes.
Anyway, all-in-all it has been a good day and I am looking forward to a pleasant and relaxing evening. The kids will be going to bed soon. They are all pretty tired. Skiing for the 2 older ones and shopping and no nap for the little one. So all will be quite at the old homestead and maybe the adults will get some R and R.
Goodnight to all. See ya in the morning or at least sometime tomorrow.
------------------
Love and Prayers
Nicole
