EW came at 7:00 am today, I had just gotten up and then the kids did. The kids tore open their stuff, and then we opened the stuff the kids got us. EW even got me something! The remaining mortgage maoney from this month! She also got me a small wrench and a pocket planner. I got her zip.
Neither kid is feeling good, son threw up all over the bathroom while he was getting ready for church last nite. I ended up callin ew and she came down and watched him while daughter and I went to church.
When we got home, kids wanted to open some gifts, ew said hurry up, she wsn't feeling well and wanted to go home.
After all the gifts were open, ew laid down and slept for an hour. She then woke up and laid around for another hour. She started helping the kids pack for our trip and my son couldn't find somethings and got very frustrated and starting yelling. EW looked for the stuff and little and when our son yelled again she said Merry Christmas and left.
Nothing like sticking in there when things get tuff!!! Anyway I found the things in 5 mins. She was complaining how unorganized everything is around here.
She called back and spoke to our son, I felt like thanking her for running out when things noisy but decided to post here instead.
All in all, I didn't lovebust, unless you consider taking down some decorations she had up in my bedroom and threw away that she saw and was upset that I threw them away and dug them out of the waste can, as a lovebuster!
Really her time here today was like it was for the past year. She just laid around , not saying much !!!
I really starting to feel better now. I know, and alway did know that I can live without her. I think indifference is starting to set in !!!
------------------
"You can't always get what you want! But if you try real hard, you might just find, you get what you need!"
Mick Jagger

Bob,
Sounds like her laying around is the manifestationof her depression. When you are so down, even the littlest things (son's frustration) seem too much to handle.
Interesting that she got upset you un-decorated your bedroom! HMMMPF! I am still wondering about her.....
Merry Christmas!
Desiree
------------------
"Life is made up, not of great sacrifices or duties, but of little things in which smiles and kindnesses and small obligations, given habitually, are what win and preserve the heart and secure comfort."
Sir Humphry Davy
It's interesting to me like, Desiree, that she got made when she saw that you undecorated the room. Sounds like she still has some feelings for you. Stay strong!! Sounds like you're doing everything on your part. Keep it up, but don't give up if you want it to work. I know you can live without her, but the question is do you want to?
------------------
"If you can learn from the mistakes of others, you won't have to make them youself."

RMA,
I think she forgot she doesn't live here anymore. She asked me if I threw away the pictures and I hadn't but she didn't take them. I was going to sell them at a yard sale this summer. She'll really be mad when I repaint!!!!! The bedroom is a little to femine for me now!
I think its just that she wants no complications or reponsibilities in her life so she doesn't even want to deal with the kids!
You are right in that she is probably depressed, but I think it was beacuse she was alone last night, I think oom worked and she has to work today!
Well, we are ready to leave town and won't be abck till Tues. Talk to you all then !!!

God Bless
Bob

------------------
"You can't always get what you want! But if you try real hard, you might just find, you get what you need!"
Mick Jagger

Bob -- You did as well as anyone could hope for. I'm proud of you. Actually, throwing away the decorations was a lovebuster, but you knew that didn't you? Doesn't sound like EW could have lovebusted, she was too tired!!!
Be careful that the indifference stays confined to your relationship with EW. Don't let it poison the rest of your life.
I'll join the chorus in saying "Hang in there, buddy".
--DeWayne--
