I have read a little on this post and I am amazed how similar our situation's are. July 4 was my D-Day. I struggled on Halloween and Thanksgiving and putting up the tree. I have even had a problem with the ring issue and I am not wearing mine right now but he is.

My husband had a A with a woman we go to church with. He moved out for a short time. Since he has been home he has done everything possible to make this up to me.

It would be great to have someone else to talk with. I guess kinda of like a partner. I am at work right now but I will try to reach you later.

Hello! I am sorry you're here (sorry we're all here); however, like you, I do like having someone to go through this with other than my H. It really helps to talk to another BS who understands what it feels like. I think it also helps if we have someone to talk to so that we can vent to each other and in doing so cut down on the number of times we unexpectedly lash out at our H's b/c it builds up inside and sometimes explodes. Yes, July 6th was my D-Day and my H kissed the OW 2 days after my birthday and had sex with her 5 days after my birthday. I got a card for my birthday and I pulled it out one night and read it out loud to him and wanted to vomit. Obviously everything the card said including what he wrote himself was phony. He probably spent all of 3 seconds running into a drug store to grab a card for me b/4 coming home; heck, he was probably on the Nextel with her while he picked it out! :-/ Anyway, I hope we can become friends and help each other through this. I'll go back and read your posts so that I can learn your story. Keep in touch! Oh, not only are our D-Days the same, our ages are close as well. I'm 39 and H is 35. -SNS

SNS,

I cannot beleive this. My D-day was July 6. I do not know why I said 4 of July. We seem to have so much in common. My birthday is July 29 and my husband showed up with a card and a candle he had just bought at the local drugstore. We were not living together at the time. He moved out on 26 May, 1 week after he slept with OW. It did not take long for the guilt to get to him so he moved home to leave with his parents.

He met the OW at church of all places. We are very involved in our church. He plays the drums there so we are very visual. Alot of people knew before I did. He moved back home on Aug 9. He was not gone that long I guess but it was a very dificult time. What hurt the most was the way he treated me during that time. And all the lies.

He has really tried to prove to me that he made a mistake and that he is sorry. I know he loves me and is doing everything right to make it up to me. It is hard to forgive and forget.

It is getting late so I will go. I hope to hear from you soon. There is alot more to the story but I have never really shared from being to end. I guess I have never had the courage to do it.

It one of your post you mentioned having to leave home due to a huricane (sp). I leave on the east coast of NC. I know all about those storms. Where do you live?

LiftedUp,

My H says he felt very guilty too and was trying to find a way out without making the OW mad. That doesn't make sense to me since he also tells me he knew he was going to have to tell me about the A b/c he couldn't keep it from me any longer. My thinking is so what if you made her mad, what is the worse she would do, call me? If you were going to confess and be completely honest, what could she have said to me? H said when he finally did come home and was face to face with me, he couldn't come clean.

I don't know if you read my whole story, I think it is under the thread, "An Eye for an Eye" in this forum. I kicked him out for about one week. I still regret letting him come back home as soon as I did, but I was exhausted and needed help with our two preschoolers. I was such a wreck I couldn't sleep thus I couldn't keep up with my two little ones during the day b/c I was sooo out of it.

We're in Florida and are thankful hurricane season is over! -SNS
