On Christmas eve a friend of ours from church called Arik and said that he and his wife wanted to have a little get together. It would be pot luck and there would be 4 other families coming. These are people that we used to hang out with on a regular basis a few years ago. We'd go out for pizza on Friday night or brunch after church on Sunday. We haven't really seen most of them for a while except in passing.
It was just so nice, we didn't do anything. Mostly just sat around chatting and joking while all the kids ran around like crazy animals(LOL), but it was such a regular thing to do if you know what I mean. Arik had to leave at 9:00 to go to work and I left a little bit after. I called him and he said the same thing. He mentioned that it would be nice to do it again soon. He said we should invite them all over here for an evening. It is nice to have couples to hang out with again.
I know I keep repeating myself but it was just plain nice [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
More blessings to count [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
------------------
Love and Prayers
Nicole

I think these little things that cement that the two of you are "us" and part of a bigger picture is so important. A few times over the year, we would be doing some traditional thing and it felt so right and comforting.
------------------
Faith, Hope, Love Remain,
but the greatest of these is Love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
