Well here goes, found our my wife had a affair with a co-worker. We have been married 12 years, after about 3 years I had a affair and while she suspected she never really knew, a week or so ago I found out she had a affair recently. I know I didnt pay enough attention to her and she says that was the reason. After my affair I felt sick and felt so guilty that I suggested a divorce, because I didnt feel like I deserved her, she has always been a wonderful wife and mother. I knew from that day on she was the only one I wanted to be with, but I have never been all that good at feelings or expressing them. Anyway I knew she had messed around and actually figured she still was, and even though I had a girl agressivly persueing me at work I could not do that to her again, like I said she is the only one I want. Well my wife claims it was short lived and she ended it, the biggest problem I have is that she never slept with him but instead gave him oral sex, which she always said was special, and she used a line on him that she used on me while we were dating. So now that everything is out in the open on both sides I am having a hard time dealing with it, I have a very hard time beleiving she has told me everything and if we are to get past this and have a good marriage that lasts I feel complete honesty is the only way, I worry that since she knows how bad I am hurt that if there is more she would not tell me out of fear of me saying it's over and leaving. Since there is many women on here, do you all have any advice? I want to forgive and forget but it is so hard, and I am scared that if she's not honest we are doomed and of course I worry about her doing it again. I just never thought she was capable of doing that without being in love with the guy.

Welcome to marriagebuilders. It is a great place to be under the circumstances. Is your wife willing to be completely transparent to you, let you know her passwords, and account for her time? That is necessary for her to regain your trust.

Keep posting and reading here. We will help you through this.
