Ok. I'm back in.

Ali,

quote:
I had a dream that I told the OW that I wasn't mad at her anymore

Now has this become a reality for you or was it to be brushed aside as some illusory [subconscious] thought? I am definitely not in the forgiving stage yet.Hmmm.

Thankfully,I have had very little dreams about the homewrecker(HW) in my case.I had one nightmare where I woke up startled remembering that my WH was waking down the street hand in hand with the HW and I was watching from across the way.It doesn't sound too bad but when I dreamt it,I literally woke up in such a bad state my WH,as loving as he was then said "What's the matter with you?!" I believe it was related to the time I first called him on his cellphone and was informed he was walking down the street,"going out for drinks" with homewrecker as he told me,nonchalantly, despite the fact that he was still married to me. ick.

Ng,

Here'a another dream that my WH had that really meant a lot to him.My WH told me he had a long dream where he and I had just met, like when we were dating and it was all about the courtship and new "in love" feelings he had for me that when he woke up,he felt so great about us and renewed, almost like it was a gift to have these feelings for me again, all from this dream he had. This was several years ago now.Boy was I wishing and praying that he could have another dream like that when this adultery first came to light.I so wanted for him to feel that way about me again so he would get rid of the homewrecker. But alas, that never came to fruition.

I agree that dreams are unreliable if we are looking for a certain outcome but I do also believe that they affect us in many different ways and as individuals~

CYA 'round the board, guys and gals

Exactly, she wants the Mustang! (hint, hint, hint darling) My neighbor has the cherry red convertible and it is sweeeettttt! I am jealous! Cuz, I can see myself in it. Unfortunately, it is not practicable for me and the kids. Ahh, no minivan! Getting a new car very soon and I still have no idea what I want. SUV or car! Just don't know!!!

I know dreams are goofy and really hard to make sense of them. My horse that I had when I was a teenager (boohoo teens) was my buddy. I still miss him very much and I still dream about him but I never get to ride him.

So, you mean the bunch of dreams that I get each night will slowly fade away as I get older? sighhhh, I am still having a difficult time with 35! ugh! I have a least 3-5 dreams a night!

I think that lady in church was just a lust
Where's my coffee?

Hey O!

You must have been posting when I was.

I had dreams where I was beating the HW, Puta whatever you want to call it up! Or I walked in on them having sex and H. telling me that he wants to be with her. Which I would wake up and be so angry at him that I wanted to beat him up while he was sleeping!! I don't have dreams like that anymore since it all clicked one day that it doesn't hurt anymore. In fact, I look at my H and I feel the ear percing pain of the nails scratching down the chalk board. He irritates me that much!

Hey there is a song out there that mentions "Homewrecker" My friend called me up to tell me about it. I haven't heard it yet. But she thinks it is Martina McBride. Do you know?

Ali~~

Still looking for my coffee!

Hey Ali,

That's funny.I used to want to beat my WH in his sleep too but that was only on a few occasions.I mostly wanted to take the homewrecker out of this universe,if you know what I mean. Those feelings are not as strong anymore.I used to think about it every day, several times a day and now I rarely think about it.I am almost D'd so the homewrecker is getting what she deserves,IMO.

As for the song "Homewrecker",I have not heard about it.I don't listen to the radio much anymore.I try to keep it safe and listen to CD's and music channels I know won't be playing sappy love songs or about breakups, etc.I am still feeling vulnerable in that department.

From the day I found out about my WH's adultery, this has been my(and both our families) pet name for the OW.It fits perfectly!

Hope you find your coffee....

I know that feeling. I could not hear any sappy love songs, cheating or break up songs! I would just hold it in and cry on the inside or curse at it! I am generally a mellow person, but when we would go by a wedding, I would yell out "don't do it, their just gonna cheat on you"! I am soo embarrassed of my behavoir. That is what a deep fog I was in. Now, I just get jealous when I see a wedding! Oh lucky them!
But I just found out who the name and the person who sings that song. It is called Home Wrecker and it is sung by Gretchen Wilson. I promise you that it will not make you cry.

I love how we took over this thread! I don't think Sunny is coming back do you? Well, she did start a good topic of great interesting opinions???

Hey Ali TGIF!

I do not think sunny is coming back.Oh well. She did start a good thread although the topic of dreams has come up before.

I don't get jealous when I see Weddings but I do want to hop out of my car and have a heart to heart talk about MB,the books and how to protect and maintain boundaries for their futures! LOL

So what Plan are you in? A,B,D, limbo?

Well thank you. And what a happy Friday it was for me!

I am in Limbo/Divorce. I am now in a marriage made out convenience. That is really sweet of you to think that of newly married couples. I am still jealous! LOL.

I dream of having a great relationship. I tried to make this marriage work. But I have even been over on his side 100% of the way and he still just sat there. He just thinks that a H. role is to pay bills, provide food and shelter. I almost feel like a pet than a wife! I can't do it anymore. I feel that I have exhausted all resources.
Someone once said and I think they heard this from Dr. Phil that I would be mouring the loss of the person I wished my H. would be. I think they're right! So I think I am hanging onto something that will never become. I know I deserve a lot better. Ahhh, but right now I am trying to get my "resources" so I can live an independent life. Something that me and my therapist are going over. Right now I am scared. It is weird living with your husband as a roommate! I wish some day, I can live the life I have dreamed of and share it with someone with common beliefs!

Later,

Ali~
