I am divorced, but my ex is still living with me. While he says he doesn't know what he wants to do ie future relationships with me or anyone else, I know the truth. He tells me that he has had no contact with the OW, but I read his e-mail and he sent her Christmas presents and wrote long loving notes to her. I don't know about the phone calls, but I know he has several calling calls (unusual for someone with only local family/friends, except for OW). He says he does'nt want to talk about anything re: her because he is trying to put her out of his mind, but I know he is doing nothing but keeping in touch and keeping the relationship alive. How can I trust anything?

hi kate,
I believe the proper mb way answer would be no lb's, stick to plan a, keep the goal in mind!
But I always prefer the up front approach. Get it all out in the open! Maybe a compromise would work? Be honest, tell him what you know, without lbing, and see what he says. It is a bit different asking someone if they have had contact and sharing that you know they have written, sent presents, etc. If there is a source, sharing may expose it, so be careful.
Trust? There is no reason to trust him!
Gads, the lies are such a tough issue-so painful. (((hugs)))
