Well, he's filed.
What a Christmas/New Year's present.
I'll continue plan A-ing as much as I can. But at the same time I'm going to have to do what I have to do.
The custody hearing for our daughter is the morning of our next session with our marriage counselor (in afternoon). What fun.
This isn't the man I married.
I thought the pain of separation was bad --- it's nothing compared to the betrayal I've been feeling.
~Amy

Amy
What a terrible start this must be to the new year for you.
Know that my thoughts are with you and lots of hugs coming your way.
Of course for WSs in the fog issues like divorce are really drifted in to like a hypnotic trance.
I am possibly going to be in a similar situation, my W even said, "well it is no big deal if we get divorced, if we both feel different in a couple of years we can get married again". How thick a fog is that logic????
Those that come out of the fog prior to all this happenening are extremely lucky but unfortunately for others the WS wakes up far to late and untold damage is done.
Take care
Inlimbo

Thanks Inlimbo. I've been needing quite a few hugs.
H doesn't believe that I'm mentally stable enough to raise our daughter. He says that I'm in a 'good' cycle right now and that it'll get 'bad' again at some point in the future.
The thing is, when I started this new medication there was an instant and noticable change in me. Family, our daughter, co-workers, friends, even his parents noticed the change.
Even he's seen it, but he refuses to accept it. Even after being on the medication for several months......he still refuses to accept it.
Intellectually he knows that depression is like diabetes or some other condition that has to be in long-term managment, but that it is possible to live with it and have a successful and fulfilling life. Emotionally, he doesn't want to deal with it anymore.
~Amy
