Update: Yesterday kids and I went to church and when they asked for prayer requests my 10 yr old son whispered "Mon tell them to pray for Dad!" I told him he should pray for Dad and he did. That night H comes home, calls out "Honey?" (hasn't called me that since before the D-day" and said he wanted a hug - and it was a real hug, heart felt and laid his cheek to my head stuff. Then he asks what we were doing at 11:00 that morning - I said church. He asked if we were praying for him - son said I was praying for you Dad. He said 11:00 that morning something came over him and really hit him hard - he was at about the lowest he had ever been and it caused him to do some soul searching. Later he said he didn't know what to do. I asked him what he wanted to do and he said "live the american dream - wife, kids (family) the whole bit. I didn;t really respond. Then he said "but then I have this other thing going, I don't know, I'm confused" After we got into to bed I asked if he wanted to talk further and he he was done for now. He called we 3x at work today, once to invite me to his office for lunch.
I'm kind of afraid to be positive about all this. Like maybe it's all a big head game he's playing so he can keep his family and have his OW at the same time. Anybody got any insight or opinions about this latest development?
Darlene
