Hi everyone,
My wife notified by email me that she has filed a petition for legal separation and divorce before I could deliver the Plan B letter. She says she does not want to harm me, and wishes me well. I moved out of the house on her request 5 months back. She asked me to come to the house to talk to me in person about it. She was crying most of the time and did not say much. Finally I had to ask why, and why not counselling etc.. She says that she cannot live with me any more and that counselling is no use. She wants me to take the legal issues from here to completion. She says that I still do not get it. She had an affair with her boss and is still working there. Her boss filed divorce papers to his wife a month back. His wife is planning to move out of state to take a new job in June. I think she is still continuing the affair, even though I am not trying to find out what is going on in detail. She seems to be acting less guiltily with me since I was notified of the divorce petition.
Do I continue in Plan A or shift to Plan B? Or do I give up and co-operate with her to shut down the marriage gracefully? I think our marriage can be rescued, but she does not beleive in getting advise from any body for any thing. We have a 5 year old girl and the other man has 2 girls 6 and 4.
I appreciate any suggestions.
Even though there is a lot of sadness and pain in this forum, I feel the goodness in the heart of all it's participants. God bless all of you.
Thanks,
Kazak
[This message has been edited by kazak (edited April 10, 2001).]

When all else is lost, and you have proof, see an attorney, and sue the "boss" and the company.
