I am gaining strength.
I had a very negative 15 year marriage that met none of my needs. I stayed in it and developed a very strong aversion to another relationship. I had panic attacks when friends mentioned dating.
I do love a man... but have been overcoming my own aversion... and his ongoing outside relationship.
I did Plan A. We have feelings for one another. He segmented his outside relationship... tried to relate to me... tried to draw me out of panic and aversion. It did not go well. His ongoing outside relationship made him unwilling to cooperate with me so that I could come out of aversion with ease. His ongoing outside relationship hurt me.
I went to Plan B.
I saw him in passing last week. I'm stronger. I did lose my temper... but the withdrawal feelings and the hurt of his seeing someone else (when I love him)... was not as sharp, dramatic, or longlasting.
I'm about bounced back on my feet... feeling positive and able to feel less rocked by the hurt and pain.
I'm standing stronger. I'm gaining strength.
I can change the situation by not engaging in love busters. I can change the situation by changing my contribution to same. I can change the situation by rising above it in Christ.
I am gaining strength.
I'm rising above hurt and pain. I'm gaining strength.
Less and less does the power of the hurt have power to implode upon, impact, and penetrate my emotions, my will, my thoughts.
I'm thinking about the good. I'm focussing on positive goals that I can accomplish. I am making progress. I am experiencing increase in other areas of my life. I'm not letting this situation drag me down.
I'm resisting negativity. I am making positive contributions. I am moving in the right direction.
I am healing. I pray the other party is as well.
Thank you for listening.
GB (God bless)
Laura
