I haven't talked to my H of 29 years since Feb. He is now
coaching our 17 year old son's Legion baseball team. They
had 2 double-headers this weekend and H saunters up to me
and asks me to keep the scorebook like I always have. Totally shocked me! He acted like nothing had changed: that he hadn't walked out on his family, no contact with me or his two sons (this is very difficult for the 17 S), he's having an A with ow that lives out of town. So is this weird behavior or what? He is in total denial that our little town knows all about his affair and everyone is totally disgusted with his behavior. I am definitely getting the sympathy votes, but it is very difficult trying to remain dignified and looking like I'm happy when he is being such a jerk. He talks to no one about the ow, but I'm friends with his office staff and know she calls 3 or 4 times a day(which I never did) any advice on this situation? So how do I maintain total detachment when I have to see him 2 or 3 times a week at games, and smile and do the book so I don't embarass my son? I think this is a full blown MLC, what do you think?
