Hi<p>Red Hat I thank you for all of your advice in the past. I just thought I would run some stuff by you. WS has been gone for 1.5 months now Getting used to it. Went to mediation got everything worked out. She still has no job a bunch of bills to pay.I had a good weekend in rides and she found out now she wants Alimony. or is that All the money. How do you plan A this stuff ?

trailhorse,<p>You are welcome, I am glad I could help. You don't plan A this stuff. There is nothing to do w/ plan A. Make sure you don't LB'ed. This is legal stuff, don't mixed it w/ your emotions. Consult w/ your lawyer or mediator and see what he/she has to say. You do what the law stated and mediate from there. If your law requires you to give certain amount at negotiable period of time then you follow and mediate from there. Which is I am pretty sure not ALL THE MONEY. You have kids and you have SS to take care of. If the lawyer says that you don't have to then it is a charitable out of your heart. IMO, there are many better use of that money on the lists before you will give some to her. Remember no LB'ed ... meaning never use this as a way to get back or to win your W. As cold as is sound, it is bussiness and nothing got to do with love. You could pay her bill down the road but not part as this legal proceeding.<p>What does your lawyer say about alimony in intepreting your state law ?.
