Since this is my first post let me give a little background on my situation. D day was in Feb-02. We've been married almost 4 years now (known each other for about 9 years). W had A with coworker. She continues to work at this place (despite my pleas for her to quit, I even offered to support her while she pursued a former desire of her's to have her own business from home). Anyway, we started counseling almost 4 weeks ago now. I've been trying to implement a Plan A. The OM continues to contact her (and I suspect vice versa). He left on a trip to Florida this week and sent her a text message on her cellphone saying something about a lot of turbulance, "let people know I loved you." She told me about this message tonight. This began a long conversation. W said that she's been trying to make it work but that she doesn't feel that she wants to try anymore. I told her that it has only been a few weeks and that it was too early to get discouraged. She proceeded to say that she didn't see any way for us to repair what had happened. She said she is flip-flopping from wanting to try with me to wanting to be with OM. Just a week or so ago she told me she had made up her mind and was ready to work things out with me. It is very confusing and very difficult for me to ride this emotional rollercoaster. Our next counseling session is tomorrow night. She says she is going to go but I'm worried she will not. I don't know what to do. I'm afraid I will say the wrong things because of all the emotions swirling in my head right now. I just think she is giving up to early and not giving us a chance.

Me38,
Hang on hard, she is still confused. IMHO, get your paln A going and do it hard. Think of what are her complaints in M about you ... make a lists of it and do it all of them. Do not try to chase her, she has to make up her own mind. Action speak louder than words.
Fill in LBQ and ENQ for her and get your act together. Good luck. -RH-
