I've been in plan B for 4 weeks. Only contact with W has been child related. Tomorrow is her b-day. I bought her a present from our daughter, but do I acknowledge her b-day in any way?
Read my profile for background. Thanks!

redhat,
In all respect, I couldn't disagree with you more. Whether in plan A, plan B, divorced or married, she is still the mother of my daughter and I won't deny my DAUGHTER to joy she gets seeing her mother receive a present from her.
Incidently, I left the present at my daughter's daycare when I dropped her off this morning. I have decided not to call or email her to acknowledge her b-day.

You should do what I did ... I used to buy a "small gifts" for my 2D to give to her ... after she impose NC on me and I did plan B in return ... I only reminded my 2 D about my W's birthday and give them some ideas on making a present them self. Both of them make a B-day card themself ... They still get the joy of making a special thing for their special person in their life .... but you should not help, specially bought the present !. My office fill w/ "special art works" from my 2 D <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> ...
Anyway, there is no perfect plan B ... we learn and improve our plan B as we go along.
