Hey All,

I wanted to share a couple of things that I read when I'm feeling really down. They sometimes help me to not feel things are totally hopeless. The first one is a passage out of the Bible from the book of Philipians and the second is a card I found at the store its by Emily Matthews...she has some really beautiful cards for different things. Anyway, I wanted to share so here goes

Philipians 4:6-7
Do Not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition. With thanksgiving present your requests to God and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (really beautiful I think)

and the card by Emily Matthews:
Lord, help us put our faith in You and feel Your presence near through each moment of uncertainty, whatever we may fear give us strength and understanding and the reassurance, too, that you're always here beside us when we put our trust in you.
(then it says)
Sometimes only God himself can help us understand when life starts going differently from what we may have planned. When things we used to count on don't seem certain anymore, Or when we're facing challenges we've never known before. Sometimes only God himself can put our hearts at rest. By showing that he loves us and he always knows what's best.

I know life seems unbearable at times, hopefully these words will be inspiring to keep going strong.

Mishl, Dear Michele, I just wanted to say thank you for your advice on what to read. One thing that I know saved my marriage is prayer! When I found out they were together on the last night of a week long get together in another state I prayed hard before calling.I'd had my suspicions before and had prayed for whoever he was with, for God to let their plans fail. God does answer prayer!I found a prayer later she had written for them, however it was for the breaking of both marriages and putting them together. For anyone not truly knowledgeable in prayer, please note, God will not answer a prayer for sinners to win! In fact, God turns a deaf ear to such a prayer. Not even heard. So for those who have been hurt, pray for the right things! Those prayers God does hear. God wants marriages to be lasting and faithfulness to be there. So one of your greatest weapons is in Prayer! For those who have been betrayed, remember, your spouse's lover may be praying, but it hits the ceiling and comes back down. But you have the ear of God when you're praying for God's will to be done! God is on your side, the side of right! And don't forget to pray for your spouse to be drawn to God. To have a wakening so they have the power over temptation also. Thanks again, Michele.
