My H had an affair with a gorgous girl, who he just "connected" with. I found out by his reactions and emotions. He introduced me to her, and my kids. Then i find out he's been sleeping with her. This was9 months ago. The affair was a short and sweet one, but i just cant get it out of my head. We make love and i think of how perfect she is, and did he touch her the same way as he touches me? I said i forgive him. But i still have thaught of just packing up and going. I dont trust him when he is out. I panic when he is late home etc. I dont want to be a divorced woman, but i also dont want him to believe it's ok to play up. We have had many discussions on this topic, an dhe assures me that he would never do it agian, as i'm the love of his life, and he loves me as i put up0 with him? Am i a doormat? I would really appreciate it if i could get some feeedback on this. I have never told anyone about what happened, i feel so embarrassed about the whole thing.
Appreciate any comments
Danni

You have nothing to be embarrased about, and in fact, you should feel proud that, unlike a lot of people who give up after dday, you not only made the decision to work on your M but you forgave your WH (not an easy thing to do under any circumstances). If there is anybody who should be embarrased it is him for betraying you and the children. You should also feel pity for the OW because how sad that a beautiful woman would settle for so little by being the mistress of a married man. Unlike you, she does not have the courage to enter a committed relationship for fear of being hurt. And to top it off, you (unlike your FWH and his OW) can look yourself in the mirror and not be ashamed of who is looking back.
