There is no trick to it, you just do it. Have you read “Survivng An Affair?“ Have you read What Are Plan A and Plan B?

ok i read over plan a and b. sounds to me like i tried both in a certain way. we went to counseling and he refused to talk about any problems. he just wants the marriage over so he can go his own merry way with the ow. makes me mad and sad that he is so willing to throw away 10 yrs of marriage. any other sugguestion on how to get either one to wor?

You do Plan A for ~6 months. This is how long one can reasonably expect to do it without going crazy.
Don’t expect to see a big turn around overnight. You may not see anything happening but if you do it well, it will work.
