I have been and continue to explore reasons for my past behaviors. I realize alot of what went wrong was due to power struggles. Who's wrong and who's right. I am no longer interested in that dance.

I have searched inside and realized that I had been hiding my true feelings due to fear of rejection or being seen as weak.

I would like my mate to join in counseling. We have tried before, but neither of us was really ready. She says it's too late. What do you think?

If you are sincere about the changes you have made, then put them to practice. Making changes in your life takes practice in order to make the changes stick long enough to become habit.

To convince your spouse will take just a little longer. Plus, she has to learn how to react to those changes. Your changes will make her change as well.

And if you're up for counseling but she's not, then go without her. Go for yourself. It's never too late to become a better person.
