A couple of weeks ago that I'd met someone else, I was of course lying to test him, LOL. All he said was "Good" He had previously a few weeks before though, said that he couldn't stand the thought of me being with anyone else, even though he lives with the OW!!! This is I suppose, why I said it, to see if I got any reaction from him, to see if there were still feelings there.

Stupid thing to do I know, but was this a LB?

WS hasn't enquired or asked questions of me about this pretend boyfriend, but when our daughter was with him Monday night he had mentioned mums new boyfriend to her. Our daughter had said that I didn't have any boyfriends that she knew of - obviously because I don't really have one. He'd then replied "Well she told me she had one".

Well he has obviously been trying to get information out of her to see if it was true or not. I get the impression that he would probably be delighted if I met someone else, it would then take half of the guilt away from his shoulders.

Don't we do really silly things sometimes?

EdensSecret,

What the heck are you doing bringing stranger that you just know a couple week around your D ... ???. Pretend or not ... he is a new stranger and your freind ... and is a man. what do you expect your D would say ?. Let it go and don't bring a stanger w/ your D.

How would you convinced your WH that you still beleive that M could be restore ? Don't muddied the issues ... you just LB'ed big time ... draining LB$.

RedHat,

I know, I know It was a really stupid thing for me to have done especially when it was not true I could kick myself for being so damn stupid, but I had no idea that PlanA existed when I did that. I did it simply as I said, to test his feelings, to see if he showed any signs of jealousy.

I was thinking of bringing up the issue with my WS when I see him in the morning and informing him that in fact I don't have a new man in my life, that I said it out of total stupidity. Tell him that I am in no way am I ready nor do I want a relationship with another man. Not that he would probably care either way, but I don't want him thinking that when I am appearing to be happier, more relaxed, comfortable and easier going in his presence, that there is another reason for my being so - ie: another man.

I'd rather him know that my changes have been brought about and they are to do with HIM!!

What do you think?
