As I have written in other posts, I am fairly new to MB. I found MB maybe too late. I'll give my case and then ask the question.

W wasn't happy, things have been bad for last year. Practically no sex, not much communication. Wife refused marriage counceling repeatedly, but we got along reasonably well. She moved out in March 03 to live with her mother to "think things over". Mother passed away in early May. She started seeing old boyfriend a week later. I discovered that he was sleeping over in early June. They have been spending the night to together everynight since then. either half the night or all night depending on whether my daughter is with me or wife.

My wife wants no more contact with me and is trying to get my teenaged daughter to warm up to new man.

QUESTION: Is Plan B any good this late in the game? At first I thought it might be my situation is different than most and I had no chance to do a Plan A.

We seem to be in the same boat. My wife left and confessed in mid march. I was able to Plan A from time to time until the end of may when my wife went no contact on me. In the past 8 weeks she reached out and talked to me once for maybe 10 min.

I think the no-contact allows the WW to avoid her feelings for us and reality of what they have done. My wife has also expressed very little in the what she needed or what I did wrong.

As for Plan B - Were both in it now but as a result of our WW decission. If your strong enough try and Plan A when you get the chance. Move yourself into Plan B when you can no longer maintain Plan A and the love for your wife is disapearing.

JMHO - as I'm not having much luck with Plan A or B at this point myself and my WW seems to have moved on with her new life.

I never went to Plan B. I found out about my wife and she took off 5 weeks later.

I decided Plan B would be a really bad idea as she was not having any contact with me. Steve Harley agreed with me on this. Look pretty stupid sneding a letter telling her to not contact me when she did not have contact with me. We did have very, very short conversations (maybe 2 hours total in 3+ years) when she would call to speak with our daughters.

I didn't call her as she had told me she didn't want me too.
