Hello,
Ken adn i are staying home tonight putting dealing with the freshness of this afair. My next question is this....how do you deal with teh fact that your H could be bringing home a disease? I'm a new Nurse and Sexual diseases is a subject i deal with daily in the hospital and I prided myself on knowing Ken adn I were each otehrs only sexual partner. I no longer have that and fear everything. They one had one time together so the odds are slim but as a nurse i have treated patients that had sex just once and were dieing becasue of it. SO aside form getting him tested which he has agreed to what can i do to deal with this? It can take a year to get fully cleared for the AIDS virus. So how do i ever make love to him....keep in mind My heart wants very much to be with my husband in that way...if only for the comfort.

Confusedwife -- You are very right when you say that it only takes one time. My W only had "one time" but we will be living with the STD she caught for the rest of our lives.
I can't offer you any real advice, but I wanted you to know that you are not alone.
God Bless

condoms. If no allergies, use spermicidal jelly also.
It is really the only way. My h and I had to do the condom thing also. There are ways that you can make it erotic, so experiment. Mutual masturbation, recieving oral sex, etc, can all be quite wonderful, so get creative. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
The cdc is still recommending the three tests: asap, 3 mos and 6 mos. Other countries have long used the 1 yr mark. The info I have states that conversion rate between 6 mos and 12 mos is less than 1/10 of 1%-mind you, that is from the cdc.
Be safe. I can understand about the comfort, the actual feelings you have, but you need to take this very very seriously. No slip-ups.
