I am not ready to start Plan B yet, but I do need some advise on how to do it...here is my situation. WW works 4 nights a week at a resturant, where she is having an affair with the owner (13 years older) We have three children 2,4 & 6 y/o. So those four nights she works, I get home from work and she is out the door 20 minutes later. I make the kids diner, get them bathed, do homework and get them to bed. How could I impliment a Plan B? My wife does not get home until 2:30am (although it was much earlier before the A started) I cant be expected to come watch the kids to 2:30 am and then leave the house and go sleep somewhere else...I get up at 5:30 am for work. Do I leave and just leave and let her find someone to watch the kids? I hate to feel like a abandoned the kids I love so much and spend so much time with. I would hope she would have to quit her job, but the affair is just as much about the resturant lifestyle as it is about the OM. (going out after work for drinks, hanging around with kids 15 years younger then her and dating a man 13 years older then her). I really need help figuring this out. Any help would be great.....P.S. she has not made any indication about ending the affair, she states that she does not want to work on the marriage. We still get along good and home (i.e. no fighting or arguing, never did) although it is tense. She still sleeps in our bed everynight and still wears her wedding ring. I am so confused, everytime I think she is starting to see the light, I get blindsided again....help

" she states that she does not want to work on the marriage."
That is essentially the problem. You cannot rebuild the marriage unless she is willing to commit to doing so. The fact that she sees no consequences she has determined so far that you have accepted this open marriage. My advice is for both of you to schedule an appointment with a MC and discuss the future of your marriage.

I'm certainly not one of the experts here, but you should still be in Plan A. Do Plan A until you can't stand it anymore. Do not leave house or kids. They need you. When it gets to the point that you are losing your love for her, it's time for Plan B. I would wait until then. Hang in there, lots of good advice here.

Thanks for the advise I am still going full steam ahead with Plan A. I have told her that the affair needs to end before we can begin to work on the marriage. She just states that she does nto love me anymore and does not want to work on the marriage. She did agree to attend a three day seminar with me. This seminar is suppose to be for marriages in crisis...she also has stated that it is the last thing she will do and is basically only doing it to appease me. The last thing I want to do is to leave me house and kids...this is one of the things that keep me up at night. She had asked me to move out last mounth, I said "not a chance" and I suggested that she move out if she feels that it would help, she did not take me up on the offer. I am just affraid that she is becoming a cake eater...if you were to visit our home, you would never know anything is going on, we talk like nothing is wrong. She calls me during tha tday to see how I am doing, yet I know that she is also talking to the OM during the day. One days when I am off work and we are home together, she always has to make a trip to the store, when I check her cell phone it always shows that she is contacting the OM "while at the store". Last night was her night for counseling, she should have been home by 7:30, she got home at 8:00 when I asked her what heppened she said she had to get gas in the car. She must think I am an idot, and I am begining to think the same think. I checked her cell phone and it showed she contact him right before her couseling. I guess they met after her session...thank God for anti-anxiety meds...
