We had about 30-35 people at our party last night and had a great time(I still haven't finished cleaning!!!). We had and I have tons of food.
My d and s each had 3 friends sleep(?) over. The last one left at 5:00 tonite.
My ew didn't come to the party after all. She told my s that it would upset me and my guests and that she would call. She did call, at 2:15 am. This from the person that wanted to spend NYE with the kids, that was mad becasue I didn't invite her to the party, that confused my d so much that she(d) asked to go to counseling. She calls at 2:15 am. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
She had said she would pick the kids up thsi morning as soon as the were ready. Well it turns out they weren't ready till 5:00, they wanted to play with there friends. She called at 2:30 and told me that they didn't want to come over so she would pick them up at 5 if that was ok with me. She said it kind of sarcastically and when I said no problem, she hung up witrh saying anything else.
When she picked them up she didn't say a word to me. I also noticed she wasn't wearing the rings om gave her. She had quit wearing them around the kids before, but had started again. So I don't know what this means. She also had a strange look on her face like she was about to cry or something, so I suspect something is going on.
Also my d would let ew take om shopping with them tommorrow. These kids sure are smart! I hope they have fun, but I doubt it as they didn't take any of there new Christmas stuff.
I feel kind of lonely today, I think I over did it with all the people here last night. Today I was alone with 8 kids and now I'm all alone. Not sure what to do tonite!
I hope everybody else here had a good time too.
God Bless us all !!
Bob
------------------
"You can't always get what you want! Bob,
Maybe she really wanted to be there, but stubborn pride held her from going there.
I'll bet your smart kids will be able to give you the scoop when they come home. Interesting that she wasn't wearing the rings!!!!!! I will say that my H did notice I had put mine back on and I am still wearing it. I decided to continue to wear it as long as I was legally married. I didn't want people to get the wrong idea that I was available. If I decide I want to be available, I'll get a divorce and then take the ring off. Until then, I am married.
Well, sounds like your party was a whole lot of fun. How come you aren't keeling over and sleeping on the keyboard??? Did you nap this afternoon?
I did get my tree down today and need to put the furniture back where it normally goes and my kitchen is a major wreck...got alot to do tomorrow. I have been up since 3:45 am this morn and I am there - about to snooze at the desk. I'm going out for the night and will check on you guys tomorrow.
Good night...
Desiree
------------------
"Life is made up, not of great sacrifices or duties, but of little things in which smiles and kindnesses and small obligations, given habitually, are what win and preserve the heart and secure comfort."
Sir Humphry Davy
