Hi gals,
I just thought I'd poke my head in for a minute. How are you? Anything normal these days?
I have to tell you about my day. A guy I work with gave me a 6-pack of beer. It is spending around the place that I am STB-D. Anyway, he hands ne the beer and says, " I know you are probably feeling very say right now, but I don't think a pretty gal like you should drink alone. So, when you get to the last one in the pack, let me know and I'll get you another one." WHAT IS THIS?????? FLIRTING??? I THINK SO!!!! Then he winks at me and walks away. OMG!
I've been thinking alot about being single. There are so many men out there, I certainly don't need the one I've got. I figure I end up to be one of those beautiful old ladies, with the pretty gray hair. Dressed to the 9's, even when I just go to the drugstore. Look good, smell good, feel good.
I bought myself some flowers today. H never would, so I figure, what the heck, I deserve them.
H called today - haven't talked in 3 days - he told me that he was thinking about me and wanted to make sure I was doing ok. Yea, whatever. I have no idea what the man is up to. I'm really not sure I even want him back anymore. I starting to feel pretty good about who I am.
Got to pick up the babe. I'll check back later.
LOL,
Cheryl

I'm here!!! Had to leave for a while to take daughter to ANOTHER sleepover. Bless her heart - she hates being here now and apologizes to me constantly for going off. She instinctively knows to keep busy and around friends to make herself feel better. I should take a hint!
Love the spunk. I can see you as that lady too. Driving a convertible!! What DO you think about that single stuff??? I think it's great you're giving yourself (and GETTING) some attention - you sure deserve it.
Your vision of the future's doing me good. My mom is a beautiful, bitter, lonely, manipulative and critical woman. (I know that sounds terrible - she loves me and I love her, but it's true) In a moment of irrationality the other night, the only thing I could think about was "Oh, my God, I'm gonna be HER!!!" I fell apart. The thought of it frightened me to death. That sent me over the edge for a good 2 hours. I like your picture much, MUCH better!!!
Well, honey, I'm here and posting and reading. Another hour and I'm trying the wine, thawed or not!
Lori

Hey-
I am in a s***y mood tonight. The wee one is sleeping, has been since I got home. Only spent about 10 minutes with her. I miss her. H called and wanted to talk to her ( yea, right, she's only two). He wanted to know how life is treating me. I told him "GREAT". Then he started talking about his job, and the weather and how he needed to go get dinner. I have know idea what this man is THINKING!! I need to get trying to figure it out.
OW sent me an e-mail today to. Says what she did was wrong, but me h intensity was too much for her to control. GIVE ME A BREAK. She also told me that she wants to be my friend. Sure, when pigs fly out my A**! How can people be like this. It all makes me sick. I've been thinking about the two of them together lately. Can't seem to get that image out of my mind. Gross.
Well, at least your daughter has a life. Bless her heart. Sometimes I think all I live for is my girl. She is my sunshine.
Thaw that wine, and toast to us; those unbelievably GOOD LOOKING OLD CHICKS.
Cheryl

I don't believe it! Wrote a great reply, the little "Do you wanna stay online" thing came on and I accidently hit NOOO. Lost my reply!!!
OK, new reply (haven't a clue what I said before). Can't believe she wants to be your friend!!! I go out of my way to avoid even hearing about Sweetie Pie. And who are you calling OLD??? (That's what H said - I'm too old for him, but he's not too old for Sweetie.....huh?) I like the good lookin' part though!
I know that h's told everyone - even his best friend - that he's not sleeping w/ Sweetie, but I still see them together like that. In fact, in my best fantasy, it only WORKS w/ me and he's humiliated beyond belief. I know, I know, not likely - but it is a lovely thought, isn't it?
Got my wine now - not bad thawed when you're desperate! Haven't heard from him since he called to cancel tues am. I figure MIL will call tomorrow and give me the latest gossip. I LIVE for her calls. Gotta stop this stuff.
Oh, looks like my job's definitely going away - I'm hoping it'll last until the new year. I'm not up to job hunting now.
OH, well, I'll be right back. Dogs are barking, maybe someone's here to tell me I've been in a sick sadistic test and I passed and my wonderful life will be back at midnight tonight. Oh, I need help!! I hate this empty house.
Lori

Oh, you make me laugh!!! God Bless YOU!
OW also said in her e-mail that the reason she had this affair (mind you, my h was her 2nd in 7 months!! What a gal), because all she did was work, come home, make dinner, do laundry, bathe the kids, blah, blah, blah, all whike her hubby sat on his fat a**. Ok, so want the h*** did she think MY life was like. Did she honestly think that my H was Mr. Mom??? Please!
I know what you mean about the empty house. I am trying to redecorate it for me. It's hard, though.
You know I don't think your old. I think that your wonderful and your H (as well as mine) is a complete idiot for leaving you.
Too bad you don't live closer, we could have a sleep over. I've got wine, beer and tequila. Party anyone??
Cheryl

D***it! I did it again!!!! Not my nite to post. Well, I was reading the post when the dumb sign came up again and laughing at myself because it was sooooooooo long!!! Guess I showed me, huh? OK, I won't even try to redo it. I was letting out all my frustrations in that one.
I think I'm gonna try to get some sleep. (My morning starts EARLY) I hate this time difference. If you guys are on in an hour or so - I'll probably be back. I usually am. Maybe by tomorrow I'll be more myself again. I feel pretty pitiful tonight. (I hate that! - never could stand myself if I whined!) Daughter says it's PMS. I don't know, never bothered me before. I think I'm just missing - oh I can't say that!!!!
You're so good. I'm gonna try to borrow some of your spirit. If you think of any good words of wisdom, let me know. I'll check in later. Tell Crazy Jill "hi" for me. Hope her day is better today.
Talk to you soon.
Lori

I know what you need, cuz I know what I need. What DO you do about that??? I was kinda hoping H would call and come over, just for 'old time sakes'. No chance of that though. I'm turning in to. Didn't sleep much last night.
Crazy Jill, hope you had a good day. I'll check in tomorrow.
Cheryl
P.S.( or is it P.M.S.) I heard some sayings today you might like
"You might think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, but, you still have to mow."
"Why would you go buy the milk, when you've got a cow at home (no offense on the cow thing.)
Love ya's,
Cheryl

You guys make my day! I'm here just a little late I guess. I work this week until 11:15pm.
I had a good day in fact I'm feeling really normal the past few days. I went to my first counseling session today. Counselor said that she thought I was really doing well and said that what I'm doing is the right thing.
She said that not being in a hurry and letting Jeff make this mistake is probably the best thing to do at this point in his crisis. So we are going to concentrate on me right now. She told me that really I'm pretty together and that it is Jeff and not me that needs the counseling. She did laugh at how good I am to him and said that she can tell I like to nurture people, even people I shouldn't nurture. Oh well there are worse qualities.
I go for a job interview tomorrow wish me luck! It is a assisted living facility and it pays really well. So with both jobs I'll be tired but financially ok. ( I hope)
Is that guy at work cute Ceecee? There are alot of really prime fish in the sea you know. I caught myself looking in the personal ads in the paper yesterday. Not that I'm ready for that but hey, Im not ready to live like a nun all my life either.
As for being old I don't plan on ever growing old so I can't picture it. I plan on winning the powerball so I can have plastic surgery every few mos to keep up with the wrinkles.
Ceecee I can't believe you got a e-mail from her, takes guts don't it. Boy that sounds like a really stable relationship those two have. I'm going to write my Hubby's baggage a letter tomorrow. I'm going to be nice but straight to the point.
Lostva, sorry you are so blue again today. How are we going to cheer you up? Wouldn't it be fun if we could really get together. We'll have to work on that.
I better go to bed morning comes early. Pretty soon I'll be on the day shift so I can talk to you all at a decent time.
Jill

Love your sense of humour girls! Hope you don't mind me reading your chat, but sounds like you can laugh a bit now - boy, that would be good!! The time difference for me seems to be a problem - can never find anyone online at the same time - guess thats what happens when you live down under!! Anyway, hope you don't mind the eavesdropping, but you made me laugh, which I needed. Thanks!!!

Just thought I'd send a line before I left for work - yes, I'm late AGAIN!!
I slept all night - amazing. First time since 6/28. I've marked it on my calendar!
ceecee - Don't know what to do about that! I'll have to give it more thought (OOOHH fun).
Crazy - I hate your schedule. Be glad when you're back on days. Good luck on your interview - don't take on too much though. Gotta take care of yourself. Glad you've had some good days. Inspires me. I figure I'll level out soon. Gotta be bad ones and good ones, right??? Time - time - time. And food, right now - I'm hungry! Glad you're getting help from the therapist. I still can't find one my insurance pays for that's less than 1.25 hours away. If I take that much time off work for the driving and a session, I might as well pay someone straight up. And I can't afford that right now. Hey - how does a redhead stay so calm????
sosad - hey, the more the merrier! Glad to hear from you, too. I've been keeping up w/ your posts. Time difference is a pain, isn't it? Laughing a few minutes a day is a heck of a lot better than crying. Makes the rest of my day go better too.
Well, ladies, I GOTTA go to work now. One of my people snuck out yesterday afternoon right behind me and the home office in CA found out and called me at home last night. Love to start the day this way....
Keep your eye on hurricane Dennis for me. I live on the coast of southern VA, so I could get a little of the fallout, depending on what he does. (Cool, I may not have to cut the grass again this weekend!)
Talk to you later.
Lori
