I had to call WH last night. The man who was going to do our railings got sick and didn't do them. Now we only have ten days to get them done.
Plus son was sick. Everything went nicely. He answered the phone at work and I told him I had two people coming to give estimates and he said he wasn't paying anyone to do something he could do. So I didn't argue, I said come do them then. So he is coming this weekend to do them. I also told him about the chimney needing cleaning and my brakes needing to be done, he said he would pay for that stuff. Then S was not feeling well and we talked about that. Then we hung up. Everything went fine. We did not talk about our M or anything like that. Other than I told him I wanted the railings to be decent because I wanted to buy the house, he sighed when I said that. I think the thought of another man living in this house that he has worked so hard on really urks him. Although another man was never mentioned, I think that is what he was thinking. Anyway that is what happened. Nothing too exciting.

Ny, you are calm and did well. You are strong. Hang in there.

I just called WH at work. I couldn't control myself and cried. I told him that we all hope him to come home and we all love him. But I can not control him. He said that aren't you controling everything? I said if I can I control, i won't let you go. He sighed. Then we hung up.

LNH,
Stop trying to control him. Look at the thread I posted under divorcing/divorced called stopyourdivorce website. Read that. You are taking the wrong approach which is pushing him away. Quit worrying about what you want and try to give him some space and time...what he wants. It's all about him and his needs and wants right now. Not yours. Sorry. I know its hard but once you do these things you will start feeling so much better.

Talked to WH again tonight about railings. He is coming to do them tomorrow. I can not leave my house for two days so we are going to have to see each other face to face. Been a while. We talked about how son is still sick after three weeks, hopefully it will go away soon, had him to the Drs. twice already. Must be a viral respiratory thing.

I also asked him to clean himself up a little before he came. He took it the wrong way, of course. My mother told me that he has greasy hair and stuff when he comes to get S. My DD doesn't need to see him that way. I asked him to look presentable. He said don't I always. I said not that I have heard lately. But anyway it all went well. Railings will be done and I will be done with him for a while anyway.

He also contacted an attorney a couple a weeks ago. Just a consultation, but he was still there. It will be interesting to see what comes of that situation. His OW must be proud of him and his appearance from what I understand. They can be two depressed scumbags together. Sounds about right for now!
