Just spent last 3 hours with wife at one of our empty rentals we've been working on. We seperated Thursday night, and have had no contact for the last two days. Asked her how
New years was, got the "don't go there look".
After a bit I told her I should probably leave as I felt LB coming on, but took a couple of deep breaths and stayed. Spent part of the afternoon hugging and kissing with a few tears from both of us. Sat on a paint bucket with her on my lap stroking my hair. We've shown more love and tenderness to each other the last month and a half since affair was revealed than the last 5 or 10 years. Noticed she had taken off her wedding ring. Cryed about that a bit. It seeme so near yet so far. No hate, anger, or abuse. Just seperation and an ongoing affair. Just staying with Plan A.
Thanks All for listening
Gale,
Way to go on the no LBs. That is what this emotional game of chess is all about.
I couldn't handle the slightest bit of intimacy right now, I would get too turned on. I guess that is a positive.
Keep showing her that you are a safe place. Even though it may not seem like it those things register they just won't open the door.
Keep doing what your doing, and don't forget alot of plan-p, as Jim likes to call it.
Bill
"commit to the Lord what ever you do, and your plans will succeed" Proverbs16:3
------------------
BB
